Enable it per website, choose a sample rate, and use ignored regions for content that should not be captured.
Collection can wait for permission.
Use the consent-gated snippet and connect your consent manager. The tracker also honors Do Not Track when the browser supplies a value of 1.
WHAT IS COLLECTED
Know the boundary of the data.
Analytics records page paths, typed interactions, anonymous session IDs, referring websites and browser/device categories. URL queries and fragments are stripped. Goal and event names are chosen by you; keep personal information out of them.
Recordings reconstruct supported page content. Frames and canvas capture are excluded. Static text, asset URLs and layouts can still reveal context, so review masking on your own site.

Keep what you need for your question.
Choose 30, 90, 180 or 365-day analytics retention. Recording retention is capped by the shorter of the website setting and your plan's 7, 30 or 90-day allowance. Cleanup runs hourly.
Delete a recording or a website from your account. Expired or deleted data cannot be recovered in the interface. Consent withdrawal stops further collection; it does not erase previously received activity.

Can I wait for consent?
Yes. The consent-gated snippet pauses collection and session-storage access until your consent manager grants permission. Behavilo does not provide a consent banner or decide the legal requirements for your website.
Does masking make every recording anonymous?
No. Inputs are masked and text masking is on by default, but page structure, paths and assets can reveal context. Exclude sensitive regions and inspect a test recording before wider capture.
Can I delete recordings?
Yes. Delete individual recordings or remove a website and its associated data. Retention cleanup also removes expired events and recordings. Monthly usage counts do not decrease after deletion.
